A Brief History

In 2016-2017, Wole completed the New Wine Discipleship Year at a resourcing church in the City of Leicester and in the Diocese of Leicester. During this year, he hosted the 2nd IMPRINT Showcase, an event that showcases the gospel through drama, dance, spoken word, and music. This event brought together hundreds of young adults to worship Jesus, resulting in many rededicating their lives to Him and many others choosing to follow Him for the first time. As a result of this success, Wole was licensed as a lay minister within the Church of England and was supported to plant IMPRINT Leicester within the Diocese of Leicester in October 2017, which quickly became a home for many university students and locals. IMPRINT's mission has always been to bring prodigals back to Jesus and empower believers to leave a lasting impact in their communities and world that testifies to Jesus.

In the same year, the leadership team of IMPRINT Leicester felt called by God to expand their ministry to London, and as a result, part of the team began hosting Crews (small groups) in central London during the summer of 2018. The first showcase in London was hosted in August 2018, and from 2018-2019, IMPRINT continued to host Crews and ad hoc events and showcases in London. In 2019, IMPRINT was invited by Bishop Ric Thorpe and the Diocese of London to become the parish congregation of St Mary Woolnoth, St Edmund the King, and St Clement Eastcheap, located in Bank Central London. And in 2021, Wole was ordained as a Reverend and Minister in Charge.
At IMPRINT, we want to see a generation from all types of backgrounds not defined by their past, insecurities, failures, sin, shame, guilt, approval from others, defaults and shortcomings but a generation completely defined by what God says about them.
As a result, they live in a quiet, humble boldness to be all that God has called them to be.
They are the dreamers and the risk-takers.
The servants and the leaders.
The counsellors and the preachers.
The healers and the deliverers.
They are the sons and daughters of God.
And because of their constant pursuit to commune with Jesus and be like him, their very nature shifts the culture.
They are IMPRINT
